Things that go bump in the night!

 

Thanks to the volunteer group in the Powell River Regional District that sent along these great photos from a trail camera set up to prove who the culprit(s) were when it came to raiding the compost.

Composting, while environmentally friendly - can create problems if it atttracts the wrong type of wildlife. Check out our pages on composting to see how you can reduce unwanted visitors as pictured below.

Another alternative is to check out the Critter-proof composter. This composter, surprisingly enough, is the brainchild of another Powell River area resident. Unlike the composter below the Critterproof composter is just that "critter-proof." While we have not tested this composter ourselves, it does appear up to the task and is probably worth a look.
