Black Bears In BC 

  •  Black bears are the most common large carnivore in North America 

    Where Do Black Bears Live? 

    • Black Bears live throughout much of BC, which includes Vancouver Island 

    •  Kermode Bears live primarily on the islands east of the Queen Charlottes,   including: Princess Royal Island, Gribbel Island, and on the adjacent mainland 

      • A few can be found in other coastal areas of BC

      • Gribbel has the highest proportion (STAT?)
